BBQ Spicy Lamb Kofta Kebab

Serves 4

Ingredients: 1 Outback Excel 200 Gas Barbecue 500g minced lamb 1 onion 1 red chilli pepper 1 tbsp cumin 3 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tbsp coriander 2 tbsp olive oil Salt and pepper 8 wooden skewers


  1. Finely chop the onion
  2. Place all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with a little salt and pepper
  3. Soak the skewers in water for at least 20 minutes
  4. Divide the mix into 8 portions and thread onto the skewers
  5. Preheat your Outback Excel 200 Gas Barbecue to a high heat
  6. Brush the kebabs lightly with Olive Oil and place on the barbecue
  7. Cook the kebabs for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through
  8. Remove from the heat and serve with a salad and minted yoghurt
