BBQ Spicy Sweet Potato Slices

Serves 4

Ingredients: 1 Outback Omega 200 Gas Barbecue 1 kg sweet potatoes 2 cloves of garlic 2 tsp dried chilli flakes 3 tbsp lime juice 5 tbsp olive oil Salt to season


  1. Pre-bake the potatoes in an oven set to 200C for about 20 minutes (or until tender)
  2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool
  3. Finely chop the garlic cloves
  4. Mix together the garlic, chilli, lime juice and oil with a little salt to taste
  5. Peel the potatoes and cut into thick slices
  6. Place the slices in the bowl with the marinade
  7. Cover the dish and leave for about 10 minutes
  8. Preheat your Outback Omega 200 Gas Barbecue
  9. Remove the slices from the marinade and place on the heat.
  10. Cook for 3 minutes on each side until the slices are browned, brushing with remaining marinade
  11. Remove from the heat and serve
