WD40 recommends using their product on barbecue grills for cleaning because it is a de-greaser. Simply spray WD40 on the removed grill rack and then wipe it off. Before using the grill for cooking, clean thoroughly with mild soap and water.

It is also used for lubricating any moving parts such as the wheels and prevents corrosion.
